The difference between how Natural Remedies work and how drug medicines work

How Natural Remedies Work:
When the body is invaded by a disease, here is what happens when it is given drugs, compared to when it is given a natural medicine:

What happens when drug medicines are used:
A disease acts upon the body, setting up an imbalance.
The body produces a reaction, which gives rise to symptoms.
A chosen drug is given, which suppresses the body's reaction and symptoms, and so may perpetuate or deepen the imbalance.
We have gotten rid of the symptoms, but we still have the cause.

What happens when natural remedies are used:
A disease acts upon the body, setting up an imbalance.
The body produces a reaction, which gives rise to symptoms.
A chosen remedy is given, which stimulates the body to activate a more effective fight against the disease, resulting in elimination of the disease, and thereby restoring balance.

I hope this is helpful in understanding the difference between these two modalities, and why we natural practitioners do what we do.

Health to you and cheers from Jea
